15 PVL stars tapped for Women's NT training pool

Fifteen Premier Volleyball League players were called up for the national team training pool for the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.


 


Bannering the squad are six players from reigning Open and Invitational Conference champion Creamline, namely Alyssa Valdez, Jia De Guzman, Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Ced Domingo, and Kyla Atienza.


 


Also part of the pool is MJ Phillips from defending Reinforced Conference champion Petro Gazz along with Most Valuable Player Mylene Paat of Chery Tiggo.


 


PLDT’s Mika Reyes, Dell Palomata, Jules Samonte, and Kath Arado were also invited to the training pool.


 


Cignal’s Gel Cayuna, and the Choco Mucho pair of Kat Tolentino and Cherry Nunag complete the pros in the pool.


 


Completing the squad are University of the East's Lia Pelaga and Riza Nogales.


 


During last year's edition of the tournament, the Philippines finished in fourth place among five teams.
