Akari beefed up its lineup for the upcoming 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference after signing Luth Malaluan.
Malaluan, 28, will bring a much-needed veteran blocker to the Chargers.
Current middles of Akari are young guns Camille Victoria, Krich Macaslang, and Ezra Madrigal.
The 5-foot-11 blocker is the third Army player dispersed to the member teams of the PVL after Jovelyn Gonzaga (Cignal) and Royse Tubino (PLDT).
The other key pickup of Akari in the off-season is Faith Nisperos.
