Akari has tapped Michelle Cobb to be one of its playmaker for its inaugural campaign in the Premier Volleyball League.
The Power Chargers, who will make their debut in the Reinforced Conference this October, made the announcement on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old setter was part of Akari's tryouts held last July 1 and 3 at Pace Academy in Quezon City. It was supervised by head coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito.
Cobb was part of De La Salle University from UAAP seasons 79-82.
Prior to UAAP Season 84, Cobb announced that she would not be playing for the Lady Spikers.
She was previously part of F2 Logistics before the team moved to the PVL.
