For Bernadeth Pons, success has never been something she simply hopes for — it is something she first envisions, then works through, and eventually lives out.
That mindset was already proven once on the sands of the Southeast Asian Games, where she turned a long-held vision into a gold-medal reality. When she returned to indoor volleyball with the Creamline Cool Smashers, that same belief came with her — sharper, steadier, and more intentional.
And before a single ball was even played in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference, she had already seen the ending.
“'Sobrang grateful kasi nga minanifest ko ‘to eh, bago mag-start ‘yung conference na makuha namin ‘yung goal. Finally, nakuha namin kahit ang daming challenges and struggles na napagdaanan ng team," she said.
What followed was a season that tested that vision at every turn.
Creamline’s path was far from smooth — a detour into the play-in round, pressure-filled elimination matches, and injuries that threatened rhythm and continuity. Pons herself even missed two games late in the preliminaries. But through it all, the image she set before the season never changed.
Inside the pressure-filled environment of the Smart Araneta Coliseum, that belief finally took form in the biggest possible way.
Against the Cignal HD Spikers, she delivered a complete performance — scoring, defending, and stabilizing Creamline through a five-set championship battle that ultimately sealed the crown.
But even in the middle of triumph, Pons turned the focus away from herself.
“Sobrang grateful ko lang din talaga sa teammates ko na meron ako sa Creamline. Kung hindi naman dahil sa kanila, hindi ko rin talaga malalabas kung ano talaga ‘yung laro ko,” said the pride of Talisay, Negros Occidental.
For her, manifestation was never isolated — it was shaped by the environment around her.
“Iba rin kasi ‘yung environment ng team. Kumbaga, lahat kasi talaga ipu-push ka paangat. Challenge din talaga every day sa training and sobrang grateful ako sa bawat isa na pinu-push din talaga namin ‘yung bawat isa na mag-excel," she continued.
That shared push became the backbone of Creamline’s run — one that demanded patience, resilience, and belief even in their lowest moments.
And when they finally broke through, the emotion came rushing all at once.
“Siyempre, sobrang saya. Iba ‘yung saya ng conference ngayon kasi sabi nga namin, hindi talaga madali. Ang daming struggles, ang daming challenges sa team, pero na-survive namin ‘yun lahat and sobrang worth it lahat ng effort and sacrifices namin. Simula nung January 2 pa lang nag-training na kami, so ayun. Sobrang saya kasi wala kaming training bukas.”
From a gold-medal dream in the SEA Games to a championship reality with Creamline, Pons’ journey circles back to one constant — she sees it first, believes it fully, and eventually plays it into existence.
