Bierria trusts Coach Shaq's plan, be it her off the bench or a starter

Tai Bierria returned to the starting lineup of Cignal in Game One of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference best-of-three Finals.

Prior to this match, Bierria came off the bench for the HD Spikers last five games, including all in the round-robin semifinals.

And the Amercian import came through with 18 points on 17 attacks despite Cignal's 21-25, 25-27, 35-37 defeat to Petro Gazz on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

However, in the marathon third set, she was only placed back on the court with the scoreline already at 23-22.

But Bierria does not mind wherever she is, whether it be on the floor playing or on the bench supporting.

"He's my coach, I play for him so I don't question any type of lineup, any type of substitutions," said the 26-year-old reinforcement.

"I'm here to do my job, I'm here to do my role if that's on the bench, if that's on the court that's what I'm gonna do."

With their backs against the wall, Bierria is raring to equalize come Game Two at the Philsports Arena on Tuesday, 5:30 pm.

"I think there are things that we usually are pretty solid on like blocking or serve even I think our serve receive passing wasn't as clean as it usually is," added Bierria.

"We clean those things up and it's a much better game in my opinion. Just cleaning up those things in the next couple practices and going at it Tuesday."
