Cignal playmaker Gel Cayuna claimed the top spot in the setting department after the opening week of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference.
The former PVL Best Setter averaged 4.75 sets per set as the HD Spikers split their first two games of the Invitational.
Cayuna recorded 22 excellent sets in Cignal's victory over Petro Gazz but was limited to 16 in the loss against F2 Logistics.
Creamline star Jia De Guzman is a close second with an average of 4.67 sets per set, while F2 Logistics rookie Mars Alba secured the third spot with an average of 4.29 sets per set.
Action will resume on Tuesday with a four-game lineup at the Philsports Arena.
In the morning games, Petro Gazz and Farm Fresh will open up the day at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Cignal-Foton clash at 12:00 p.m.
Meanwhile in the afternoon session, Akari takes on Chery Tiggo at 4:00 p.m., while F2 Logistics and Choco Mucho will fight for the number one spot in Group B at 6:30 p.m.
