Molina spearheaded the HD Spikers' attack against Foton on Tuesday.
Her performance, highlighted by 16 points, 15 attacks, and 15 excellent digs, proved instrumental in securing a resounding 3-0 win (25-10, 25-16, 25-22) over the Tornadoes at the Philsports Arena on Tuesday.
Cignal began the Invitational Conference on a high note, claiming a victory against Petro Gazz in their opening match. However, they were dealt a harsh reality check by F2 Logistics, who handed them a four-set loss (20-25, 28-30, 25-23, 22-25). Undeterred by this setback, the team remains focused on their goal of securing a playoff berth.
With a 2-1 win-loss record, Cignal currently holds the third spot in Group B. Molina expressed their clear objective for the conference, stating,
"Our goal this conference is to make it to the semifinals and go all the way. We need to rely on each other and be reliable to Angel [Cayuna]." The team's sixth-place finish in the previous All-Filipino Conference serves as a driving force behind their hunger for success.
Not to be overlooked, former PVL Best Setter Gel Cayuna also played a pivotal role in the HD Spikers' recent triumph over the Tornadoes. She emphasized the importance of winning their remaining matches as they strive to reach the semifinals.
Cayuna attributes their impressive performance to the extensive preparation they underwent during the VNL break, expressing gratitude for the ample time they had to fine-tune their skills.
"We are thankful for the long preparation we had for this game. We really dedicated ourselves to the task at hand because every game is crucial, and we need to come out on top," said the former FEU playmaker, who delivered 22 excellent sets throughout the match.
As the Invitational Conference progresses, Cignal's determination continues to intensify. With upcoming matches against Farm Fresh and Choco Mucho, the team is aware of the challenges that lie ahead.
