Cha Cruz-Behag is making her return to the Premier Volleyball League, but this time, she’ll be on the sidelines as an assistant coach.
The former F2 Logistics star will join Petro Gazz's coaching staff under the leadership of Japanese coach Koji Tsuzurabara.
Behag is set to make her coaching debut for the Angels in the upcoming Reinforced Conference, which opens on July 16.
After a long hiatus, the former La Salle standout returned to competitive play in the 2023 All-Filipino Conference with the Cargo Movers before stepping away from the team due to pregnancy.
This marks Behag’s first coaching role following a distinguished playing career that includes four UAAP championships with the Lady Spikers.
Her arrival is a welcome addition to a Petro Gazz squad aiming to defend its Reinforced Conference crown.
