The campaign of Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Mylene Paat in the Volleyball Thailand League ended on Sunday.
And the two will be bringing home bronze medals after powering Nakhon Ratchasima to a bronze place finish.
Chery Tiggo team manager Ronwald Dimaculangan confirmed that the two are bound in the coming days.
After a few days rest, they will be joining the rest of the Crossovers in their final trainings heading into the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, which begins on March 16 at the Paco Arena.
"Yes, they will be playing for us," said Dimaculangan.
Proud is Chery Tiggo of the accomplishment made by Santiago-Manabat and Paat, especially the latter who showed vast growth in her game during her four month stay in Thailand.
"We are very happy and proud of their achievement," expressed Dimaculangan.
"We saw significant improvements in her skills, particularly her service," Dimaculangan remarked about Paat. "She is also faster in her attacks and has improved her defense."
Chery Tiggo will be a different team come the Open Conference.
Key signings the team had were EJ Laure, May Luna, Julia Angeles, Cza Carandang, Roma Joy Doromal, and Necelle Gual.
The team though will be missing the services of reigning MVP Jaja Santiago as she is still with the Saitama Ageo Medics in the Japan V.League.
Though expectations will be high on them, Dimaculangan is not putting too much pressure on Chery Tiggo to defend the crown.
"Our goal, of course, is to defend the title," said Dimaculangan. "But we won't put too much pressure on the players. Just like last season, we will be taking it one game at a time."
Chery Tiggo is bunched with Choco Mucho, Black Mamba-Army, Cignal, and F2 Logistics in Pool A.
