After a disappointing debut in the Premier Volleyball League, Cignal has decided to load up for the 2022 season.
Headlining the new acquisitions of the HD Spikers are former Petro Gazz stalwarts Ces Molina, Ria Meneses, and Jerrili Malabanan.
The trio did not renew with the Angels late last year.
Malabanan and Molina are set for a reunion with Cignal head coach Shaq delos Santos with the former having the decorated head coach as his mentor in Far Eastern University.
Aside from the trio, Cignal also added ex-PLDT middle blocker Marist Layug and former Sta. Lucia quicker Glaudine Troncoso.
Cignal started to load up on talent as early as September, signing Graze Bombita, Gel Cayuna, Angeli Araneta, and Bia General.
The HD Spikers went just 1-8 during the 2021 Open Conference.
