Creamline's depth and familiarity with each other were key points that boosted them to a 4-0 slate in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.
With most of the players already in the Cool Smashers camp for three years or so, head coach Sherwin Meneses can insert anyone off the bench and will deliver right away.
And that was in full display Thursday at the Philsports Arena when Creamline defeated Akari, 23-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-21.
Turkish import Yeliz Basa led with 18 points, while Ced Domingo and Jema Galanza got 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Out of the 12 players utilized, excluding liberos Kyla Atienza and Ella de Jesus, 11 entered the scoring column.
"It took a lot of time for us to build this kind of trust between us players," said setter Jia De Guzman, who's been with the Cool Smashers since 2017.
Tots Carlos has seen her minutes dwindle down as she plays the same position of their reinforcement - opposite.
But the two-time Conference MVP was called to play open in the fourth frame, taking the position of Alyssa Valdez, and tallied seven points right away.
Even seldom-used Rose Vargas provided instant impact with four points while Michele Gumabao got three.
"Kahit na nasa bench kami, nasa loob kami, lahat kami ready to contribute at any time of the game," said Morado, who dished out 19 excellent sets against the Chargers.
"Even si Yelo she understands that despite being an import, alam niya rin na kahit sino sa loob ng team pwedeng mag contribute," added the six-time PVL Best Setter.
