Deanna Wong grateful for outpouring of support during PVL's MOA return

Deanna Wong's fans have been by her side ever since the Premier Volleyball League opened its doors to the fans.

And for that, she's forever grateful.

"Di ko alam, sobrang blessed lang and humbled kasi ayun, like I always say I don't know kung anong ginawa ko, I don't know kung sino 'man ako," said Wong after Choco Mucho's Game One win over Cignal on Wednesday.

"I'm really just grateful for all of them kasi hindi lang sila sakin nagsusuporta, sa buong team [din]. I wish them the best," she added.

Wong steered the Flying Titans to a 25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22 over the HD Spikers in the 2022 PVL Open Conference the battle for bronze. She ended up with 30 excellent sets along with 26 excellent digs and four points.

Still, the former Ateneo star said that the job is not yet complete for the Flying Titans. After all, the team is dead-set on claiming its first-ever podium finish since joining the PVL in 2019.

"Masaya, pero hindi pa tapos yung trabaho namin so there's still one more game and we want to get it," said Wong.

"Siguro mindset is to be able to win. So, lesson learned yung 'di kami nakapasok ng finals maybe it's not our time pero yun we want to end the season with a win, a bang," she added.

Choco Mucho looks to close out the series on Friday at 3:00 PM at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
