F2 Logistics closed out its PVL Reinforced Conference campaign with a 25-16, 25-22, 27-25 victory over Petro Gazz to finish fifth after winding up sixth in the Open Conference on Tuesday at PhilSports Arena.
The Cargo Movers, led by Lindsay Stalzer's 22 points, dominated the first two sets then rallied in the third to pound out the victory. They wound up with a 4-4 card, their semis bid stymied by a shock loss to the Akari Chargers last Nov. 15.
F2 also lost to Cignal next to bow out of the race.
The Angels, winner here in 2019, finished tied with the Cignal HD Spikers at fourth at 5-3 with the former ending up third with superior tiebreak points, 15-14.
Elims topnotcher Creamline (7-1) faces Cignal while No. 2 Chery Tiggo (6-2) battles Petro Gazz at the start of the semifinal round, another round robin phase, on Thursday also at the Pasig venue.
