Farm Fresh taps Yeny Murillo as import

Farm Fresh, gearing up for a fresh start in the Premier Volleyball League, has made a pivotal decision by signing its first-ever international recruit, Yeny Murillo, to bolster their squad for the upcoming Reinforced Conference set to kick off on July 16 at Philsports Arena.

Murillo, a dynamic 25-year-old spiker, brings a wealth of experience despite her young age, having entered the professional volleyball scene in 2021.

Her journey began after a collegiate stint at Arizona Western College and Grand Canyon University, followed by a leap to Europe where she showcased her talents in Greece with AO Thiras for the 2021-22 season.

She continued her international odyssey with stints in France, playing for Municipal Olympique Mougins Volley-Ball and Rennes EC, as well as in Cyprus with Anorthosis Famagusta and in Czechia with TJ Sokol Frýdek-Místek.

Excitement brews as Murillo joins Farm Fresh, marking a significant move for the team as they prepare to face Chery Tiggo on opening day at 4:00 p.m.

The Foxies' aim is to improve upon last season’s performance, where Farm Fresh concluded with a 3-8 record, securing ninth place in the standings.
