Galeries Tower bolsters lineup with Brazilian spiker Monique Helena

Galeries Tower is set to infuse fresh talent into its lineup as it prepares for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

The Highrisers have secured 22-year-old Brazilian outside hitter Monique Helena as their newest import, with Helena's arrival in the country marking her inaugural venture into international competition.

Her career trajectory began in 2017 with Lavras Vôlei, followed by stints at Itambé/Minas, Minas Náutico, Bluvolei Furb SME, Vôlei Taubaté, and ABEL Moda Volei.

In addition to Helena's arrival, Galeries has strengthened its roster by signing free agents Roselle Baliton and Shannen Palec during the off-season.

These acquisitions aim to bolster the team's lineup following their 10th place finish in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference, where they posted a 3-8 record.

Looking ahead, Galeries is poised to make further enhancements as they prepare for the upcoming 2024 PVL Draft, where they hold the third overall pick.
