Galeries Tower is set to enter the 2026 Premier Volleyball League season under new leadership after unveiling a revamped coaching staff on Thursday night.
The Highrisers announced the appointment of former Chery Tiggo assistant coach Clarence Esteban as their new head coach, marking another change on the bench for the franchise. Esteban replaces Godfrey Okumu, who took over from Lerma Giron ahead of the season-ending Reinforced Conference last December.
Esteban last coached in the PVL during the 2022 season, when he steered the Chery Tiggo Crossovers to a semifinal finish in the Reinforced Conference.
He will be joined by former BaliPure head coach Rommel Abella and other assistants as Galeries Tower looks to bounce back from a 12th-place finish in the 2025 Reinforced Conference.
The new coaching staff inherits a roster in transition, with the Highrisers parting ways with leading scorers France Ronquillo and Ysa Jimenez, along with veterans Fhen Emnas and Dimdim Pacres, during the offseason.
Despite the departures, Galeries Tower still has young pieces to build around, led by third overall pick Jean Asis and Alas Pilipinas standout Julia Coronel, as the team charts a new course heading into the 2026 campaign.
