A day before its biggest game, the players of Kurashiki made sure to give back to the country that hosted them for the past week.
The Ablaze went to Barangay 128 in Tondo, Manila to spend some time with the kids there on Saturday.
It was a fun day for head coach Hideo Suzuki and his wards as they gave the kids there presents and snacks.
Besides teach the kids the sport of volleyball, the Ablaze were also able to learn the trending Filipino game 'lato-lato.'
Kurashiki aces Ohshima Kyoka, Hiraoka Akane, and Takahashi Kaoru said that seeing the kids of Tondo inspires them to win it all on Sunday.
"We would like to win tomorrow's final game of volleyball that will impress and energize the children," the team's social media post read.
The final of the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference between Kurashiki and Creamline will take place on Sunday, 6:30 p.m. at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
