Denden Lazaro-Revilla put on a defensive masterclass against the bevy of powerful hits from F2 Logistics bannered by Lindsay Stalzer and Kalei Mau.
And in the end, the multi-awarded libero towed Choco Mucho to a 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24 victory over the Cargo Movers to enter the win column of the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Thursday evening.
Revilla tallied 26 excellent digs and 11 excellent receptions while holding down Stalzer to 31.6 percent attack rate and Mau to a measly 15-of-57 in her hits.
"Masarap tulog ko mamaya," shared Revilla after two hours and 15 minutes of battle against stacked F2 Logistics.
"It's tough. They're strong, they have more experience than I do but I'm really thankful na nakapagprepare kami nang maayos today and nandiyan yung teammates ko para sumalo sa akin."
However, if there is one person that had no doubt that Revilla will stand out against highly-touted spikers, it's Choco Mucho coach Oliver Almadro.
"That's Den Lazaro. Yan naman talaga si Den eh, sinasabi ko nga sa kanya iiwanan na namin yan bahala ka na diyan," said Almadro.
"So if you have a player like that, parang minus ka na sa iintindihin eh so I'm happy na ganong klaseng player si Den na 'ako bahala, kapag may ganon kang player, ganon kang teammate you will never go wrong."
