Myla Pablo, the newest addition to F2 Logistics, has proven her leadership skills in her team's debut victory against PLDT in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
The two-time league MVP delivered a stunning performance, contributing 21 points, 9 excellent digs and 8 excellent receptions, to lead the Cargo Movers to a 25-22, 25-21, 14-25, 20-25, 16-14 victory.
Pablo acknowledged the responsibility that comes with being the newest member of a well-established team saying, "I'm super happy to be in F2, but I know that I need to catch up with the team and especially since I'm expected by my teammates and coaches, especially in crucial games."
"It's important that not just Ate Aby [Marano] leads the team, but each player should also lead their team to win," she added.
Although her performance was slightly shut down in the latter part of the game, Pablo was still instrumental in the team's tight fifth set showdown against PLDT.
F2 Logistics head coach Regine Diego praised Pablo for her leadership saying, "I know Myla can lead the team. She led the team, but there were moments where PLDT read our game and she was shut down. However, I respect the opponent, they're really good at reading the game."
Diego was grateful for having veterans like Pablo, Cha Cruz-Behag, and Aby Marano that can lead the team during crucial moments.
"Myla is so reliable in scoring and she contributed a lot to the team, and hopefully, we can do more from that with other adjustments," said Diego
