Ateneo middle blocker Joan Narit has officially signed with Farm Fresh, the newly-formed team set to make its mark in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
The announcement, made on Monday, has sparked excitement among fans and marked a significant milestone in Narit's volleyball career.
Following in the footsteps of her fellow Blue Eagle teammate Pia Ildefonso, Narit will join a formidable roster that includes NCAA MVP Mycah Go and the core of the College of St. Benilde team for the upcoming 2023 PVL Invitational Conference.
This union of exceptional talents has set the stage for an electrifying season, as Farm Fresh looks to make a memorable debut in the highly competitive league.
Standing tall at 6-foot-1, Narit made a name for herself during her three seasons with the Blue Eagles in the UAAP.
However, her debut season in Season 82 was abruptly cut short by the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, robbing her of the opportunity to showcase her full potential on the court.
With her signing to Farm Fresh, Narit now has the chance to leave an indelible mark and fulfill the promise she showed during her time with the Blue Eagles.
Farm Fresh, one of the three new teams entering the PVL, alongside Foton and Gerlflor, is poised to take the league by storm.
They have been placed in Group B, where they will face off against formidable opponents such as Petro Gazz, F2 Logistics, Choco Mucho, Cignal, and Foton.
Under the astute guidance of renowned coach Jerry Yee, Farm Fresh aims to create a cohesive unit that can challenge the league's powerhouses.
