Nxled announced the signing of Spain national team standout Paola Martinez Vela as its import for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Saturday night.
Standing 6 feet tall, Martinez joins a talented wing trio alongside rising star Lyann De Guzman and veteran EJ Laure. Under the guidance of Italian head coach Ettore Guidetti, the Chameleons hope to turn their youthful promise into a serious championship bid in the upcoming 2025 Reinforced Conference.
Martinez, 27, has an impressive resume that includes stints with Dinamo Bucuresti in Romania and KS Palac Bydgoszcz in Poland, among other top European clubs. Nxled highlighted her extensive international experience in a Facebook post, noting her play in Spain, Romania, Poland, Belgium, Italy, and Cyprus.
“Now, she’s bringing her international firepower to shine with the Chameleons,” the team said.
The Chameleons are counting on Martinez to provide both scoring punch and veteran composure in clutch moments, complementing their youthful core.
