In preparation for the highly anticipated 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference, Petro Gazz has made significant moves to bolster its front line.
The Angels made an announcement on Thursday afternoon, revealing the signings of two notable players: former University of Sto. Tomas middle blocker KC Galdones and ex-BaliPure standout Julia Ipac.
Galdones, who had an eventful final year in the UAAP, experienced a mix of being in and out of the starting lineup for the Golden Tigresses.
However, her undeniable talent and potential make her a valuable addition to the Petro Gazz roster.
Meanwhile, Ipac, a former La Salle standout, last competed for the Water Defenders during the 2022 Open Conference.
The arrival of Ipac and Galdones adds even more depth and strength to Petro Gazz's already formidable front line.
Joining the team's roster, which already boasts the talents of All-Filipino Conference Best Middle Blockers Remy Palma and MJ Phillips, these new acquisitions form a fearsome quartet capable of dominating the net.
With the additional support of Des Clemente and Yeye Gabarda, who were part of the team's successful middle blocker rotation in the previous conference, Petro Gazz appears poised to maintain its remarkable form.
