Petro Gazz signs Lindsey Vander Weide as import

Petro Gazz has found its import for the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

The Angels signed American outside hitter Lindsey Vander Weide, the team announced on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3 spiker is a product of University of Oregon.

During her pro run so far, Vander Weide played for Volley-Ball Nantes in France and Békéscsabai Röplabda SE in Hungary. She last played with AEK Athens in Greece.

Vander Weide will be a welcome addition to an already stacked Angels side that has Myla Pablo, Grethcel Soltones, Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, and Jonah Sabete in the wings.

The Reinforced Conference begins on October 8.
