Petro Gazz announced on Wednesday evening that it is bringing back the import who helped secure their first-ever Premier Volleyball League title.
Wilma Salas, the standout wing spiker, will once again don the Angels' colors in the upcoming Reinforced Conference, set to begin on July 16.
Salas was instrumental in Petro Gazz's 2019 Reinforced Conference triumph, where she played a pivotal role alongside the late Janisa Johnson.
Her stellar performance during that season earned her the prestigious 'Best Import' award.
Following her memorable stint with Petro Gazz, Salas took her talents to Europe, playing for Polish club KPS Chemik Police and Greek squad Olympiacos S.F. Piraeus.
Now, at 33 years old, she is set to return to the Philippine volleyball scene with hopes of reigniting the same magic that led the Angels to victory four years ago.
