At the young age of 21, Pia Ildefonso is ready for the next level.
The 5-foot-9 spiker will play for Farm Fresh in the upcoming 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference which begins on June 27.
The Foxies made the announcement on Saturday.
For the former Ateneo Blue Eagle, entering the pros is the jumpstart she needs after skipping UAAP Season 85.
"I just wanted a fresh start and what better way to have that than join a team na nasa pangalan na ang fresh. Right now, I'm just someone who wants to learn more about the sport from one of the best coaches in the country," she said as she gets to be under the guidance of Jerry Yee.
"I want to fall back in love with the sport and through the help of my lovely teammates na very talented, I hope to get there with hard work and passion. Sobrang daming kailangan matutunan lalo na from the veterans in the team and that excites me."
Ildefonso joins the core of College of Saint Benilde in the maiden season of the team.
