PLDT picks up Palomata, Prado

It did not take long for Dell Palomata and Jovie Prado to find a new home.

The former Sta. Lucia players have found a new home for the 2022 Premier Volleyball League season, joining PLDT Home Fibr.

And for Palomata, who had a breakout year during last year's Open Conference, she joined the High Speed Hitters because of two men -- George Pascua and Raffy Mosuelo.

Palomata is just glad that Prado will be with her as well.

Lucia. Iba yung pinakita namin sa Sta. Lucia last conference," the 6-foot-3 blocker opined.

Last year has been so good to Palomata.

Besides getting to fulfill her dream of being a pro player, she was able to play internationally as she was part of Choco Mucho in the 2021 Asian Women's Club Championship.

And for 2022, she hopes that she can finally get the one thing that has eluded her over the past five years -- a PVL championship.
