PLDT is looking to take things one game at a time after moving a win away from clinching a semifinals spot in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference, Saturday.
With the four-set win against Army-Black Mamba, the High Speed Hitters are now on the cusp of their first semifinals berth since rejoining the PVL for its first professional season last year.
"Mindset talaga namin is one game at a time kasi hindi naman namin pwedeng isipin na dapat Cignal matalo namin, dapat Choco [Mucho] matalo namin, yung next game muna, doon muna kami mag fo-focus," said the former La Salle star.
"Lahat ng susunod na games sobrang importante na and hindi rin talaga magiging madali dahil alam naman namin na kung paano mag-laro yung mga makakalaban namin," she added.
Reyes had another consistent outing for PLDT, scoring nine points including three rejections in the 17-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-18 win against the Lady Troopers at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The 28-year-old middle blocker from Pulilan, Bulacan said that they will carry the lessons that they learned against Army in their upcoming matches.
"Every game talaga kasi is very important lalo na yung remaining games and siguro lesson din sa amin 'to na na siguro unang set pa lang talaga be aggressive na as possible kasi we respect Army so much na ayaw talaga namin mag-palapit ng score kasi alam naman namin na kaya nilang humabol," said the former La Salle middle blocker.
The High Speed Hitters' victory placed them at the second spot with a 3-1 standing tied with Creamline.
