PVL playoffs to transfer to MOA Arena, Ynares Center

Due to the high demand for tickets, the Premier Volleyball League will move to the Mall of Asia Arena and, later on, Ynares Center in Antipolo to cap the Open Conference playoffs.

The PVL was able to secure the clearance from both Pasay's and Antipolo's local government units and the Games and Amusements Board, Friday evening.

"Of course, we are thankful to both Paco Arena and the Filoil Flying V Centre for being gracious hosts to us over the past few weeks," said league president Ricky Palou. "But we needed to accommodate more fans for the playoffs that is why we are moving.

"We at the PVL are really grateful to Pasay mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, Antipolo mayor Andrea Ynares, to both SM and the Ynares family, and the Games and Amusements Board for giving us the clearances necessary in a short amount of time," Palou continued.

On April 3, 4, and 6, the games will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena -- a state-of-the-art venue that has a capacity of 15,000.

The league will then move to 7,400-seater Ynares Antipolo on April 8 and, if necessary, the 10th as well.

The last time the league held a game at the MOA Arena was back on July 11, 2018 during the Finals of the Reinforced Conference. Meanwhile, the PVL last played at Ynares Center back on July 15, 2019.

The classification matches scheduled on April 5 will still be played at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

All spectators must be fully vaccinated while facemasks must be worn at all times in the venues.

Kids below five years old are also not allowed in the venue.
