Tots Carlos is determined to nab her first-ever professional title in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.
"Siyempre motivated ako kasi if we get this championship, this will be my first championship e as pro," revealed Carlos after Creamline's Game Two win against Choco Mucho on Sunday.
But aside from that, Carlos also has another motivation in mind behind her stellar campaign this conference.
And that is her team's heart-wrenching loss to Chery Tiggo in the finals of the 2021 Open Conference.
"I think maybe the experience lalong lalo na from last tournament kasi may mga sariling hugot pa ko from the last tournament so talagang tinrabaho namin nila coach," said Carlos.
The former Motolite standout fired 23 points to help the Cool Smashets clinch their sixth consecutive finals berth via a 23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-15 victory over the Flying Titans.
It has been an explosive campaign for the 23-year-old Carlos, who spearheaded the Cool Smashers' perfect 3-0 run in the group stage. It was also in the group stage where she delivered a tournament-best 28 points against Petro Gazz.
She also made sure to show up in the playoffs, scoring 17 points in the quarterfinals before bombing Choco Mucho with 26 and 23 points, respectively.
Carlos looks to sustain her fine form against Petro Gazz in the Game One of the PVL finals on Wednesday, 6:00 PM at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
