Trisha Genesis will begin her Premier Volleyball League pro career this October during the Reinforced Conference.
Akari has announced that it has signed the 5-foot-7 spiker for its inaugural campaign.
Genesis, a native of Laguna, built her name during the 2018 Collegiate Conference.
She steered Adamson to the championship of that conference while winning the Most Valuable Player plum.
After the UAAP season, Genesis joined the tryouts of the Power Chargers last July 1 and 3 at Pace Academy in Quezon City.
Genesis joins Michelle Cobb and Jho Maraguinot with the Power Chargers.
