Kianna Dy still seeks improvement despite F2's 2-0 start

The 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference has kicked off to a great start for F2 Logistics, with two quick wins in their first two games.

The Cargo Movers' strong performance was led by 2021 PNVF Champions League MVP, Kianna Dy, who recorded a game-high 17 points in their latest match against the Akari Chargers.

Despite the team's early success, Dy remains unsatisfied and is eager to see further improvements.

The team's opening win against PLDT in five sets was followed by a dominant victory over Akari, which resulted in a three-way tie for the top spot. Dy emphasized the importance of starting the match aggressively and taking control right from the start, instead of starting slow and allowing their opponents to establish a foothold.

F2 Logistics' head coach, Regine Diego, praised the team's improvement compared to their debut match but is eager to see more from them moving forward. She also acknowledged Akari's improvement and fight, despite not scoring a set in their first two matches.

"I want more from them, there are so many things that we have to improve," Diego said. "We have to improve our ability to take control of the match quickly and be more aggressive. We cannot wait for our opponents to make more points before we take action."

Dy echoed Diego's sentiments and is determined to work on the team's weaknesses in training.

"It's good that we started on a good note, but there are still a lot of improvements that need to be made. We will take every game one step at a time and hopefully reach the end," Dy said.

F2 Logistics' strong start in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference has set the tone for a promising season, and the team is eager to continue improving and making their mark in the league.
