Alyssa Valdez returned to the volleyball court like she did not miss two months to recover from dengue fever.
The three-time Premier Volleyball League conference MVP registered a triple-double in her first game back with 17 points, 13 digs, and 13 excellent receptions.
More importantly, her Creamline got the win over PLDT, 25-22, 25-18, 26-28, 25-22, in its Reinforced Conference debut, Thursday at the Philsports Arena.
The last time Valdez played was on August 14 when the Cool Smashers won the Invitational Conference against KingWhale.
The 29-year-old superstar then sat out in the AVC Cup for Women and ASEAN Grand Prix where Creamline repped the Philippines.
And to be back on the taraflex was something Valdez missed a lot.
"Honestly, kinikilabutan talaga ako as in goosebumps talaga every shout ng mga fans kapag nakakapoint 'yung teammates ko," shared Valdez.
"It was my first time to miss a lot of tournaments this year so I was really happy to get back and it's just so nice to be back, getting the win."
